2010 Paco de Palmeira - Eminencia Loureiro (91 pts) #winereview - Medium lemon color. Medium+ intensity on the nose. The nose has a lot going on from citrus (lime, orange), floral (orange blossom, acacia), honey, and mineral (wet stone, copper penny). Bone dry. Medium+ acidity, medium alcohol, and medium body. This wine has great texture, I am assuming there is some lees aging with the creaminess on the palate. Citrus and floral notes coat the mouth and it all culminates with a medium+ chalky finish. Extremely balanced and probably the best 100% Loureiro that I have tasted. Additionally considering this wine is from the 2010 vintage it is amazingly fresh again making me believe their is lees aging. If you can find it, please seek it out. #wineterroir #winelover #winegeek
