Roenfeldt Hill Grand Riognier 2018 Riesling and Viognier Blend Rating: B Price: $22 Recommendation: Buy. A first for me. A blend of Riesling and Viognier. This is the second wine I’ve had from Roenfeldt Hill and they are scoring points with me. I’m not sure if this blend was an experiment or planned, but I am sure I like it. This was a complimentary bottle and honestly I don’t think I would have bought a blend of Riesling and Viognier. Sometimes unusual scares people, but sometimes different is good. I’m glad I got to try this wine. Actually even wondering why other winemakers haven’t done this. If you are looking for a boutique small producer that is handmade with love, have a search of Roenfeldt Hill.
