1978 Produttori del Barbaresco - Almost 40 years old and still showing some fruit, but tons of tertiary aromas. Dried cherry, tobacco, dried leaves, smoke, smoked meat, violets and menthol. Tannins are really resolved and make the wine quite smooth. The palate shows the strong acidic backbone.
