Located along the banks of the Sabato River in the village of Raiano in Campania, the 20 hectares of organically farmed vineyards stretch across 3 prestigious DOCGs and are dedicated to indigenous grapes. Grapes are from calcareous-clay over a base of yellow marns soil. Aged for 6 months in barrique, followed by 12 months in large tonneau, then 12 months in the bottle. Rich black cherry, blackberry, red currant, plum and raisin meld with cinnamon, nutmeg, white pepper, meat and smoky earth, framed by fresh acidity and muscular tannins. Dark fruit and savoury, smoky elements linger between each velvety sip. 100% Aglianico 13.5% Alcohol Villa Raiano Taurasi DOCG 2013 #aglianico #campaniawine #organicwine #vinvivant #vinnaturel #vinobiologico #taurasidocg #drinkbetter #drinkitalian #vinorosso #winelover #vinoitaliano #redwine #instavino #winestagram #winereview #slowwine #villaraiano #caravino
