Grapes are from calcareous-clay over a base of yellow marns soil. Aged for 6 months in barrique, followed by 12 months in large tonneau, then 12 months in the bottle. Rich black cherry, blackberry, red currant, plum and raisin meld with cinnamon, nutmeg, white pepper, meat and smoky earth, framed by fresh acidity and muscular tannins.
