Régis Minet took over his grandfather’s eastern Loire estate in 1976.  Dedicated to expressing the native terroir, he farms organically and with minimal intervention. Vineyards are 25-30 years in age, with clay, marl and Kimmeridgian Limestone soils. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, aged on the fine lees in stainless steel for 6 months. Pale gold in colour, with aromas of chalky minerality, lemon, granny smith apple, citrus blossom, trace of ozone. Keen acidity, lemon, ginger and green pear diffuse over a chalky mineral backbone. Grapefruit and lemon zest amplify the flinty mineral finish. Composed, elegant and sleek. 100% Sauvignon Blanc 13% Alcohol Régis Minet ‘Vieilles Vignes’ Pouilly Fumé 2018 #vinobiologico #lowinterventionwine #vinbiologique #sauvignonblanc #pouillyfume #vinnature #loirevalleywines #loirewine #vinnaturels #vinbio #organicwine #drinkbetterwine #vinfrancais #vininaturali #frenchwine #winereview #vinblanc #vinvivant #vinobianco #frenchwinelover #naturalwinelover #risotto #roastedromanesco #uovo #regisminet #vieillesvignes #caravino
