1985 Frick - Pinot Noir @frickwinery ℹ️ This wine is 💯 Pinot Noir from the Central Coast in California. 👁 Medium garnet color with a pale rim, a slight haziness as well. 👃 Medium- intensity on the nose. Aromas of red currant, dried strawberry, cherry skin, strawberry leaf, terracotta (red brick), leather, and herbal tea. 👄 The wine is dry, medium+ acidity, low resolved tannins, medium alcohol (12.9%), and medium body. Herbal and earthy notes are more pronounced on the palate. The medium- length finish shows notes of dried red fruits and cherry cough drop. 🔔 This was my second and last bottle of 1985 Frick Pinot Noir. 🤷‍♂️ I am not exactly sure when or why it was in my cellar. The wine was very much alive, racy acidity, but overall very tertiary with dried fruit, dried herbs, and earthy notes on the palate.
