From a single vineyard of 80+ year old vines with clay and limestone soils at 500 meters in elevation in Taurasi. Spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts with 8 days on skin maceration, followed by 1 year ageing in chestnut casks. Deep gold-orange in colour, with aromas of orange peel, apricot, myrrh, lemongrass and clove. Orange, nectarine, red apple, candied ginger, clove and fresh acidity are framed by wooly tannins. Roasted chestnut, lemon, baked pear infuse the campfire smoke finish.
