Kate Hill 2015 Pinot Noir, Tasmania, a Pinot I’ve been unknowingly craving for a while now. Dark, brooding, savoury, smoky and spicy on the nose, evokes autumnal thoughts. The palate, a similar story, a core of dark fruit surrounded by brambles, undergrowth, and gripping tannins. A Pinot Noir for lovers of grunt over prettiness. Hard to fault for its style, and I love it.
