A traditional Producer. Apparently these vines were previously classified as Moulin-a-Vent which is the neighboring Cru· 👁 Medium- ruby color· 👃 Medium+ intensity on the nose. Aromas of ripe raspberry, raspberry sorbet, boysenberry, and violets· 👄 The wine is dry, high acidity, medium- soft tannins, medium alcohol, and medium- body. A medium- length finish of bright ripe raspberry· 🔔 This wine is $22. Simple and straight forward. This is very primary, it is very tart raspberry flavors. I am missing some complexity in the wine, but it is a good entry point for Beaujolais. For a few more dollars I think you could by something with more depth. I would say this doesn't seem super Fleurie to me either.
