NV Charles Heidsieck - Brut Reserve Champagne (92 pts) #winereview - Persistent and fine bubbles. Pale gold color. Medium+ intensity on the nose. Aromas of toast, brioche, poached pear, baked apple, and lemom meringue. The wine is dry, medium+ body it's quite full and actually quite surprising, medium+ acidity, and medium- alcohol. Well integrated oak on the palate, not over the top yeast notes either. Ripe orchard fruit baked yellow apple and poached pear. Nice citrus notes on the finish as well. Really well made wine it's a huge value. Honestly this is something I am going to stock up on.
