Pago de los Capellanes Joven, 2018 - Ribera del Duero, Spain🇪🇸 Tasted: 8/2-2020 🍇100% Tempranillo A top winery of Ribera del Duero situated just outside Pedrosa de Duero. Selection of parcels from the Santa Gadea vinyards, followed by 5 months maturation in 300 litre French oak. - No filtration or clarifying. It’s a full-bodied wine loaded with blackberry, blackcurrant, figs and fresh red plums. Light spicy and herbal notes cocoa and pepper. What I really find interesting with this wine is the minerality (some gravel stuff..), the dried flower bouquet and the clear acidity which balances the wine a lot in my opinion.
