In addition to his stunning Barolo, he is reviving and safeguarding indigenous grapes such as Freisa and Pelaverga. Ruby red in colour, with aromas of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, candied rose petal, white pepper and a trace of bramble. Fruit driven, with cherry, wild strawberry, red currant and blackberry accented by a wisp of roasted herbs, hint of coriander and earthy minerality over fresh acidity and black tea tannins.
